Functieomschrijving BMT ARGOSS is expanding its business and is looking for an Administrative Assistant (32-40 hrs) to support the Finance and Sales Team. The position is based in our Amersfoort office. BMT ARGOSS is a BMT Group company specializing in metocean consultancy and maritime weather forecasting. We help our clients elevate their operational efficiency and calculate the weather risk on marine operations worldwide. Weather and wave information is crucial for people working at sea. ARGOSS facilitates in this need by providing customers with both past conditions (climate) and future conditions (weather & wave forecasting). Your job will be to support the Finance department with all daily and ledger transactions, as well as providing administrative support to the Sales Department. Your key accountabilities will be: - Administrative support Finance Department: - Sales Ledger: prepare sales invoices and match receipts; - Purchase Ledger: process invoices, preparing supplier payment runs and process all transactions in a timely manner and within the set deadlines; - Process bank and cash transactions, reconciliation of bank balances to general ledger; - Process Personal expenses claims and Company Credit Card expenses; - Credit control: communicate with debtors to ensure timely payments; - Perform reconciliation of Intercompany positions with other Group companies; - Participate during month-end closing process; - Perform various other administrative tasks and prepare financial information upon request. Administrative support Sales Department: - Data entry of leads and proposals into CRM database; - Assist to keep project documentation up-to-date. Functie-eisen - Good communication skills in Dutch and English (all the reports and software are in English); - Good IT skills, including advanced spreadsheet skills, and understanding of financial systems; - Adaptable with a flexible approach to work; - Must have the confidence to challenge and be challenged; - Attention to detail, accurate, well-organized and stress resistant; - Experience with CRM databases is a plus.
